Don’t touch me, I’m bad luck.
June 2nd, 2003 | by Scott Jennings |First, Jeff’s weblog is dead at five entries, again. He’s a victim of pre-emptive self-censorship — never explicitly told to knock it off, but intimidated that way. The lesson for you all: never ever mix your blog and your office. They’re better off not knowing, and you’re better off not telling them.
I haven’t been writing mostly because I left the power supply for my laptop in a hotel room in south Jersey last Friday, on top of my recent road schedule. I also left my tolietries bag there. I also got pulled for speeding in south Jersey and was let off with a warning. I also locked my keys in my car on Friday night. I also got pulled for speeding on Saturday and got a summons for reckless driving for doing 76 in a 55.
Until I get power to my laptop, any writing I do will be on stolen time. And since my law-flouting days seem to be over, we’re all just going to have to wait patiently.
