The shows my new TiVo records.
June 14th, 2003 | by Scott Jennings |I’ve false-started and back-burnered three different rampage-style essays this week, on account of the depression that comes and goes for us all, and the fact that everything I write sucks when I feel this way. So, just to demonstrate my continued existence and superior taste in television, here is what I’ve programmed my new TiVo to record:
WWE RAW (TNN/Spike TV/whatever it ends up being called)
WWE SmackDown! (UPN)
Pardon The Interruption (ESPN)
Family Guy (Cartoon Network)
Enterprise (UPN)
World Poker Tour (Travel Channel)
Sports Night (Comedy Central)
The Simpsons (Fox)
Around The Horn (ESPN)
Daily Show (Comedy Central)
Last Comic Standing (NBC, your home for trainwrecks)
Harvey Birdman (Cartoon Network)
SNL (just the ones on NBC, I missed most of the season)
Curb Your Enthusiasm (HBO, low on the list until the new season ’cause I’ve seen them all)
South Park (Comedy Central)
The Simpsons (reruns on the local affiliate)
Malcolm in the Middle (Fox)
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire (check your local listings)
I’m also set up to grab any poker tournaments or curling events that should happen across, and next time “My Breakfast With Blassie” comes on, I should snag that too. (RIP, Freddie.)
If anything will improve my mood, it’s increased television viewing, and resting comfortably knowing that PTI will be available when I need it.
