What I’m going to do on my summer vacation.

I am going to New York City, New York, on my summer vacation. I am leaving in the morning, and will be on vacation for nine days. The vacation will start with the 5th Annual Del Close Marathon, which is an annual event which consists of 54 consecutive hours of improv comedy. I will be performing in the marathon at odd hours, and I will watch many of the other shows. I’ll also be participating in a couple of improv workshops with some of the best teachers in the world. I’ve been telling people it’s like Improv Christmas! Because it’s like a really big gift, like on Christmas.

After the marathon, I will remain in New York for a week to hang out with the really cool people who dwell in “The City,” as it is sometimes called. I plan to appear in a short film being directed by local filmmaker Rob Cacy, which will be lots of fun. Also, I’m hoping to have an audition for the television show “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” (I registered, they just have to e-mail me back! I hope they do! That would be awesome!)

But I won’t be spending my entire vacation in “The City,” because I’ll probably end up going to another city, Atlantic City, New Jersey, with my friend Joe and other people who might come along. Atlantic City is a lot of fun because casinos are legal, and Joe and I enjoy playing card games. I’m playing a card game on the Internet as I write this! That’s why this sucks.

My vacation will come to an end with a big bang, as I attend the debut of a film I was in called “Reality & Stuff” in the evening on Friday, perform in a show called Osgood-Schlatter at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre later that night, then end up at a big blow-out bash hosted by my old friends Curtis and John. What a fitting end to a fantastic vacation!

I am sure that this vacation will be the highlight of my summer. Hope to see you there!
