A short list of things I feel like blogging about.

1. My car is laid up on the street outside of RossAndHeidi’s with a loud knocking sound in the engine that Austin thinks might be a lifter, but is probably a rod. Son of a whore. So I’m going to have to take it to a mechanic and continue to be automotively assfucked. Fantastic.

2. Fuck this fucking snow. I had to cancel my class this afternoon, I had to cancel my plans for the evening, and it’s looking like I’m going to have to miss my first day of work. Fucking winter wonderland, it’s too beautiful to hate, especially here in Pittsboro. I should have taken pictures.

3. I went to see a show at Duke on Saturday night. Now, keep in mind, I have no formal affiliation with UNC, I make fun of Ross when UNC loses (go ‘Noles!), I hate “Carolina blue,” and yet, when I found myself on the Duke campus, I instantly hated everyone. I was so filled with hatred that I took the opportunity to piss on one of the buildings with Ethan, who also had no reason to hate Duke. It was the fastest piss in history, but satisfying. Definitely satisfying. Fuck those Duke bastards, fuck them for no reason.

4. I’ve officially given up on the Zoloft — it was doing practically nothing for me, and the side effects were getting miserable. I had a bad case of bruxism (uncontrollable clenching of the teeth, especially while sleeping) and “certain sexual side effects,” which had advantages and disadvantages. Still, it’s time to take control again, instead of pretending the pills could take some of the responsibility. My depression was situational — and now I’ve moved, I’ve fallen ass-first into a good job, I have great friends, life is new and exciting again, and this will be my year. So fuck the Zoloft.

More soon.
