If I got a car problem, yo, I’ll blog it.

The nameless Thunderbird is currently sitting at the garage that Ross recommended, awaiting a tune up. Oh, how those two words send a chill down my spine, but the mechanic who took my car assured me it was the way to go. You see, for the past couple of weeks, she’s been having trouble accelerating from a stop, especially in the first five or ten minutes of a trip; it’s like, I give it gas, and she sputters and struggles and then usually goes but sometimes stalls. And the stalling is bad, because then she won’t restart for at least a minute or two, and she stalled once turning onto an interstate in Raleigh at 1am, and another time taking a turn from a busy street onto another busy street in Chapel Hill at rush hour, and that basically sucked. So I put a bottle of STP fuel injector cleaner on it, since that’s what the former owner apparently did, and it stopped stalling, but it still sputtered, which makes me nervous, since I have to turn from a local road onto a busy highway to get anywhere from my house. I know.

So I took her over to the garage that Ross recommended, since he assured me that all the mechanics on Franklin within walking distance of my office are dicks, and bugged Pete for a ride back. And so here I sit, brokenhearted, while my nameless Thunderbird awaits her tune up and her fate.

Also, the radio is broken.
