T-bird SMASH!
July 21st, 2004 | by Scott Jennings |My car’s acting up again, doing the thing where it stalls out when I give it gas from a stop. It only does it right after I start it cold, it doesn’t matter how much I warm it up, and it only does it once. After I get it started in a minute or so, she runs strong. I’ve replaced the fuel filter, distributor cap, various other parts, had a professional fuel system cleaning and transmission service, and it’s still doing it. I should hate this car.
But how can I? It’s a 91 Thunderbird, 3.8L V6, so much power, so responsive, handles great, and the rear wheel drive makes it feel like the center of gravity is directly below my cock. It’s an incredible little machine to drive, I love how I feel behind the wheel of this thing. From a driving standpoint, it’s the best car I’ve ever driven. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
What the hell is wrong with my car and me? What is this, some sort of automotive Stockholm Syndrome?
