Was it for the rides?
No. I don’t like being up high, and I don’t like to be jostled about.
Was it for the entertainment?
No. Now, I love me some Doggies of the Wild West, but mainly from an academic standpoint. It just doesn’t resonate with me on an emotional level.
Was it for the championship-caliber produce?
No. That would be dumb.
Then why did I go?
Oh yes. Once a year, I can have whatever I want, deep fried to golden perfection.
Beautiful. Like a corn dog heightened to its logical peak.
