Way behind.

- Katy did a good job summarizing the miraculous disaster that was her sister’s wedding. I hasten to add only that she and I are very attractive people.
- The DSI Comedy Theater (sic) opened on Friday, and was quite clearly a huge success and the greatest night of my improv life. I’d estimate that we rocked the faces off of at least 200 different people on Friday, came close to selling out the whole damn night, and made our humble and attractive little comedy house into the place to be in Carrboro. Good for us. Playing with Daniel Wallace was incredible fun, I hope he comes back and does it again for us very soon.
- Between the wedding and the need for something to wear on stage, I’ve spent just about $700 on clothes over the past three weekends. (Well, $100 of it was a gift card, and $200 was on revolving credit, which as we all know, doesn’t count.) I’m broke out of my skull, but goddamn, I look good.
- My little brother got engaged over the weekend! Holy shit! Think back on your favorite “Jeff the Debaucherer” story, and now think — that guy’s engaged! How ’bout that! Naturally, I’m very happy for Jeff and Shanna, she’s clearly a saint for putting up with the consistent level of shit I’m sure she gets from my brother. I will not have anything to do with the planning of this wedding.
