June 29th, 2006 | by Scott Jennings |Yacht Rock was cancelled at Channel 101 this week after its tenth episode. The ship had clearly lost steam, but it’s disappointing that the show won’t end on its own terms.
This was the most sublimely brilliant thing on the Internet, ever. If you haven’t see it yet, take fifty minutes to watch the saga from beginning to end, and bask in the warming glow of McDonald and Loggins.
But Yacht Rock’s not truly dead until the smooth music is. That’s why I haven’t shed a single tear for Yacht Rock. Keep the fire!
