Let’s take a photo-tour!
August 7th, 2007 | by Scott Jennings |Hey, let’s go on a tour of the new apartment!

Welcome to 109th St. between Amsterdam and Broadway, or as I call it, Calle 109. Look who’s got a primo parking spot up on the right!
But enough local flavor, let’s head inside. Behind this gate:

And down these stairs:

And behind this other gate:

And past our neighbor and down this little alley and past that wooden door:

You’ll finally be on our absurdly spacious deck, where you can sit in a small circle on one end and leave the rest pristine and empty.

Hey, look! It’s roommate Dave Siegel, home from a long day of campaigning for student council treasurer!

Use keys number 3, 4, and 5 to negotiate the front gate, deadbolt, and door lock.

And you’ll find yourself in our living room. Hey, look! It’s roommate Jason Curtis, enjoying some digital cable! (He was given the option to smile, which he politely declined.)

Right off the living room is roommate Nick Faber’s bedroom. Hey, look! Nick’s hard at work editing digital video for an hilarious Internet short!

Right behind the living room is the kitchen, suitable for the storage and preparation of food.

In the back of the apartment, you’ll find my bedroom, which is embarrassingly large. All of the amenities of home, plus a coffee table that didn’t fit anywhere else. And yes, I ended up not painting, only because the room gets practically zero natural light and has these weird and unexplained vents all over the walls.

I told you they’d be jaded city cats in no time.
