I’ll miss the alternate side parking ritual, I sort of enjoyed it. But what with the job, and I’ve been told that I enjoy strange things, so I started hunting for a garage. A week and a hundred phone calls and a bigger ordeal than I expected later, and I’m in a garage right by the George Washington Bridge and the 1 train. 15 minutes up Broadway from New Carrboro, 15 minutes on the train back, right around the corner from the onramp to the Cross Bronx. Perfect. And it’s a good price, friends. I won’t tell you the exact price because my friends down South will think I’m crazy, but City friends: I got a good price.
I’m sharing this because Smandrew Smutson just can’t live without these details.
