October 1st, 2008 | by Scott Jennings |Since my last name is Jennings, I’m especially sensitive to the possessive form of nouns that end in “s.” Here’s the quick rundown:
My personal preference: Jennings’s
Also acceptable: Jennings’
This means you’re stupid: Jenning’s
And I thank you.

What about pronunciation? Do you insist upon “Jenningses” or will a drawn-out “Jenningzzz” do?
